Frequently Asked Questions

We serve a 40 mile radius from the Gloversville area and will consider other areas based on class size and specific need.

Classes are held at multiple facilities throughout the year and are offered on a private, group, or classroom style basis. We will travel to your home, or another location depending on what type of class you book.

If you are interested in booking a school program, please reach out to discuss availability and curriculum.

Adirondack Pet Safety does not have a physical location at this time so we do not have set hours. Our set class schedule can be found HERE and private or group classes may be scheduled by emailing us directly. We answer calls and email inquiries during normal business hours and do our very best to respond within 24 hours.

Classes are non-refundable once paid, however we do allow for rescheduling/date transfers. We know that life happens, but please try to provide us with as much notice as possible so that we can open up your spot to others on the wait list.

This depends on the type of class and settings however no class will ever exceed 20 students. This is for both safety reasons and ease of teaching. Group classes and "parties" are offered as well as smaller classes.

No, we do not train on live animals for both the animal's safety, and your own.

All classes, while also appropriate for veterinary professionals, can be taken by first time pet owners! The more you know, the better pet owner you will be. Regardless of your experience, please join us!

Nope! Classes are open to all!  If you are a Veterinary Care Professional seeking recertification, we will need you license number and you will receive a certificate following the successful completion of your coursework.

Classes may be pre-paid through our website. We accept all major credit cards (processing fees apply), Venmo, PayPal, or business check. Fees will be charged accordingly for all returned checks.

If you are looking to set up invoiced payments for reoccuring classes through an educational institution, please reach out via email so we can set that up.

Due to liability restrictions, students must be at least 14 years of age to participate in ADKPS classes.
